At Johnny’s On Oak, we strive to make our customers happy with Greek food, pizzas, pasta, burgers, steak and even more! We have great food, use quality ingredients and have reasonable prices, where you can dine in a safe and clean environment, take away or conveniently place your order by calling us, through our website or your preferred delivery service.
Family Business
In 1985 Alex and Kathy Tsoukalas started Best Neighbours. 35 years later, Alex said it’s time to let his son put his own stamp on the family restaurant. We have some new items, a new look, we are open later and have a new name Johnny’s On Oak!
The same family is looking to be here another 35 years – or more! We hope you come join us and enjoy our newly renovated restaurant. Come for a night out or take away and if you are staying home, we deliver hot and delicious meals for your family to enjoy.
Dine in, take away and delivery are offered to make your experience perfect and we have a large delivery zone throughout Vancouver. Alternatively, you can order directly through us or use one of your favourite services as we are partnered with Door Dash, Skip the Dishes and Uber Eats!
Happy Hour & Late Nights
At Johnnys on Oak you can come in early and enjoy a drink during our afternoon Happy Hour 3-6 pm and enjoy a drink and snacks from our Happy Hour menu and for the late-night crowd or industry staff, we have our Happy Hour menu from 9-close. Whatever you decide, come in and treat yourself to our delicious menu options or choose from our Happy Hour menu.
Fantastic Food!
Let’s get real, Johnny’s On Oak is synonymous with pizza! The quality and flavour are what has made us a Vancouver pizza favourite for over 35 years. Create your own, try one of our specialty pizzas or you can even opt for our new thin crust pizza.
For a starter, you can try Johnny’s On Oak new amazing cheese toast made with his secret blend of cheese and spices or our homemade panko breaded chicken strips served with our house made honey BBQ dipping sauce. Once you try our calamari which is deep fried marinated squid with tzatziki sauce, believe us, it will keep you coming back for more. In addition, you can start with our crispy chicken wings in your favourite sauce which is also featured on our Happy Hour food menu!
Our fabulous dishes to try including our famous lasagna baked to perfection, or fettuccini alfredo with a homemade sauce that is rich, creamy and delicious and in addition, we offer a fantastic baked spaghetti and perfect for children, is our creamy cheesy mac and cheese. To top it off, all our pastas are served with our well-loved garlic bread to soak up the sauce and it’s very easy to add Greek salad, Caesar salad or tossed salad.
Classic Greek Dishes
These are our family recipes passed down from generation to generation and will take your taste buds on a Greek food adventure. Classic Greek dishes like our signature Greek roasted lamb cooked to perfection. Or you can try marinated and char broiled chicken souvlaki, beef souvlaki or prawn souvlaki with rice and lemon potatoes. If you want to try something spectacular, try our homemade moussaka which is amazing! Alternatively, order our homemade spanakopita dinner made with phyllo pastry filled with spinach, leeks and feta that’s also a delicious vegetarian menu meal option and can easily be served as an appetizer on its own!
Lots Of Choices
A newer hit that we’ve added to the menu is Wagyu beef options which include Wagyu beef tacos, Wagyu beef burgers, Wagyu beef pasta or Wagyu beef steak dinner.
Lighter meal options include truffle honey fried chicken and Cordon Bleu, and you must try the cheese bread made with Johnny’s secret recipe! If you are craving seafood, we have a sesame crusted ahi tuna, or treat yourself with our buttery miso sable fish or indulge in a plate of our beer battered fish and chips served with our homemade triple cooked fries.
Keep in mind, you can add a salad, shrimp, chicken, prawns or meatballs to any of our dishes and when you are finished your mains, we have several deserts to choose from like our New York cheesecake or gluten free chocolate brownie with ice cream and the rich and sweet Mediterranean dessert known as baklava.
